The Resilience Project

The students were encouraged to find a friend to hug and say thank you to for being their friend.

We certainly started the year at full throttle with an excursion planned for the very first week back, to St Josephs for the second session of the Resilience Project, which we joined last year.  Thank you so much to families for completing those permission slips on such a tight timeline so everybody could take advantage of the session today.
I attended the Junior session this morning and I was most proud of the way our students presented themselves, behaved and engaged with the session.  A big part of the learning today was empathy for people not as fortunate as ourselves and gratitude for what we are lucky enough to have.  That included saying thank you to our friends and even giving them a big hug.  It certainly was a heart warming presentation.
